I feel like it's been forever since I wrote anything or was on social media (or been more present on social media anyways lol!) After a glorious week of staycation I'm back and so excited to be here with you today!

Monday Musings
One of my favorite shows when I was a kid was 'Tiny Toons'. Do you remember that show? All the characters were child versions of the 'Looney Tunes' characters like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck etc. and it was amazing. Every Saturday morning i would tune in to watch their adventures! On my staycation this week my mind was brought back to their movie "Tiny Toon's - How I spent my summer vacation" In this short animated film the audience follows the cast of Tiny Toons on each of their adventures over their Summer Vacation. I think I watched this movie so many times it's forever burned in my memory! And while we were enjoying time by the pool, adventures with Amelia and mommy-daddy time every evening I could hear the theme song to this movie in the back of my mind.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are excited and refreshed for the week ahead! Im going to be honest and say that the next couple of days will be difficult. Just transitioning back to normal schedule from a week filled with vacation is always hard!

Some pictures from our staycation!
I spent some time each day of our vacation knocking some things off of a long term to do list! First up was fixing the labels on the medicine boxes in our hall closet. So glad to have that done!
Also re-labeled the drawer tower in Amelia's closet! All ready for the next year =)
How beautiful are our new front steps! When my parent's were visiting, my dad and Husband spent a huge amount of time and energy making the steps. Over our vacation my Husband got the staining done and we are PUMPED for the final look!
I will be writing an entire post about this, but over the vacation week I took some time and purged my closet! Got rid of some clothes that are too big or just worn out beyond repair. Started working on my Fall and Winter wardrobe wish list and discovered a new app!
My Husband and I will always associate oysters and champagne with vacation!
